- YOUR CHILD MUST NOT ATTEND CLASS IF THEY OR SOMEONE IN THEIR HOUSEHOLD HAS SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19. YOU SHOULD ORGANISE COVID TESTING AND IF THE TEST IS NEGATIVE, THEY CAN RETURN TO CLASS. IF YOUR CHILD ARRIVES AT CLASS WITH SYMPTOMS WITHOUT A NEGATIVE TEST RESULT FOR COVID-19, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND CLASS.

- YOU MUST REPORT A POSITIVE CASE OF COVID-19 WITHIN YOUR HOUSEHOLD TO US IMMEDIATELY SO THAT WE CAN ACTIVELY IMPLEMENT CONTACT TRACING.

- IF YOU KNOWINGLY BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS WITH A COVID CASE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD YOU MAY INCUR A FEE FROM GPSD AND YOUR CHILD’S PLACE REMOVED.

- Students MUST wear footwear at all times.

- Unfortunately, for now, the turning shoes (half ballet shoes) cannot be worn and students need to wear full-sole ballet shoes.

- Please try to be as timely as possible for drop-off or pick up. We are working hard to follow government guidelines around bubbling children in line with the Out of School Provision guidelines, Gym facilities guidelines and the Department for Education guidelines but we need your support and help to do this. There is cleaning taking place between each bubble and students will not be allowed inside the premises until the very start of their class. You cannot drop them early. Equally, we need students collected efficiently too to prevent any crossover of bubbles. If you are, on an unexpected occasion, late to pick your child up we will then ask your child (regardless of age) to wear a mask so there is no cross contamination between bubbles. However, if your child has a medical condition which requires them to not wear a mask, we will obviously follow the guidelines on this.

- Secondary school aged children need to wear a mask when entering and leaving the premises – they do not need to wear a mask whilst in class.

- Primary school aged children do not need to wear masks to enter the building or during class, but they should bring a mask with them to class.

- Upon arrival, students should take their belongings (please only bring ESSENTIAL items into the building and please ensure your child is already changed and ready for their class) to the allocated storage area which is cleaned between bubbles. They should then only use their designated space for their belongings.

- Staff will greet and dismiss students whilst wearing a visor or a mask and will keep their distance. Once greeted, Staff do not have to wear masks or visors whilst teaching but will maintain distancing. This is for communication purposes and especially in the case of new students starting. It’s important to be able to communicate with the children and make them feel comfortable within the setting.

- Staff will wear gloves, and a mask if any close contact work is required.

- Bathrooms and surfaces are cleaned between every bubble and whenever possible, windows and doors will be open to allow for fresh air flow too.

- Please provide your child with PLENTY to drink for class.

- Parents should NOT enter the premises, unless asked to do so for reasons seen fit by the member of staff. If you are asked to enter the building you MUST wear a mask.

- Hand washing and hand sanitising will be regularly required throughout and in between classes.

- In the event of a localised lockdown or positive Covid-19 result within the school, classes will move to online and no refunds will be given for that period as long as classes are still running online.

- In the Studio social distancing will be maintained, at all times.
