STUDENT SUCCESS AUTUMN 2022 – SUMMER 2023

Ned P Successfully auditioned for a full time place at the Royal Ballet School, White Lodge.

Maddie T-C Successfully auditioned for a full time place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and was also offered full funding for the course.

Maddie T-C & Skye K each successfully auditioned for a full time place at Central School of Ballet.

Skye K successfully auditioned for a full time place at English National Ballet School.

Georgia S Successfully auditioned for a full time place at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

James W successfully auditioned for a full time place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and was offered full funding for the course.

Finn H was offered a highly sought after place at Guildford School of Acting to study on the BA Theatre Production course.

Holly H & Skye K Successfully auditioned for a full time place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Florence G & Holly H successfully gained a place on the Royal Ballet School’s Senior Associate Program.

James W was successful  in gaining a place on the highly sought after, Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Skye K gained a Distinction in her RAD Advanced 1Ballet Exam and competed in the prestigious Phyllis Bedells Award.

Ned P successfully auditioned to be a part of the Royal Ballet Company’s ‘Cinderella’ and performed with the company for the run.

Delilah S successfully auditioned to dance with Birmingham Royal Ballet in their production of ‘Sleeping Beauty Dreams’.

Edie S gained a place on the Royal Ballet School’s Junior Associate Engagement Program. Edie was also placed on the short waiting list for the Junior Associate Program in Covent Garden.

Florence G & Delilah S were both selected to attend the Spring  Intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2023. Millie E & James Wwere both placed on the short waiting list.

Florence G & Ned P we’re both offered places on the Royal Ballet School’s Summer Intensive 2023. Delilah S, Erin P, Holly H, James W, Maddie T-C, Mille E & Skye K we’re all placed on the waiting list.

Milan C, Olivia K & Jasmine L we’re each placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s Mid Associate Program.

Florence D was placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s Senior Associate Program.

Maddie T-C & Skye K we’re both placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s Advanced Associate Program.

Delilah S & James W successfully passed their assessment to continue on the Royal Ballet School’s Mid Associate Program.

Millie E, Sadie S, Florence G, Olivia K & Erin P successfully passed their assessment to continue on Central School of Ballet’s Associate Program.

Erin P was offered a full scholarship to attend Central School of Ballet’s Spring Intensive 2023.

Maddie T-C & Skye K successfully Auditioned for the Summer Intensive at Joffrey Academy of Dance.

Maddie T-C was placed on the waiting list for a full time place on the Joffrey Academy of Dance Conservatory.

Skye K was placed on the waiting list for the Joffrey Academy of Dance Pre-Professional Division.

Erin P was offered a full scholarship for the Central School of Ballet Summer Intensive 2023.

Bella N was placed on the waiting list for a full time place at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Erin P was put on the waiting list for London Children’s Ballet.

AUTUMN 2021 – SUMMER 2022

Holly H was successful, amidst huge competition, in gaining a place on the highly sought after, Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Florence D, Skye K, Ned P, Delilah S, & Maddie T-C each successfully passed their assessments at the Royal Ballet School to continue, on the Associate Programme there.

Jasmine L & Henry L were each offered a place on the online Junior Associate Engagement Programme, at the Royal Ballet School. They were both also placed on the short waiting list for a Junior Associate place in London, Covent Garden and should places become available will attend in person in September 2022.

Isabella N successfully auditioned for a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and The School of Ballet Theatre UK full time courses for September 2022 entry.

 Josh G, Holly H, Bethany S & Rosie S, each successfully auditioned, amidst much competition, for the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet.

Ruby C, Millie E, Holly H, Florence G, Olivia K, Erin P, Lucy S, Sadie S, James W each passed their assessments to continue their classes on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet.

Skye K and Maddie T-C each successfully auditioned for highly sought-after places on the Associate Programme at English National Ballet School.

Bella N and Georgia S each successfully auditioned for highly sought-after places on the Associate Programme at Rambert School of Ballet & Contemporary Dance.

Milan C & Rosie S each successfully auditioned amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Florence D, Holly H, Skye K, Bella N, Erin P, Lucy S, Delilah S, & Maddie T-C were each successful at audition for the BBO Scholars Senior Ballet Programme in London.

Ruby C, Florence G, Holly H, Skye K, Delilah S, Maddie T-C & James W were each selected to attend, amidst much competition, the Summer Intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2022.

Holly H, Florence G, Erin P & Delilah S, were each selected to attend, amidst much competition, the Spring Intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2022.

Eve B, Emily P, Leoni S, Daisy W & Molly W each successfully auditioned for a highly sought-after place on the Associate Programme at London Studio Centre

Amelie W & Daisy W, whilst at London Studio Centre Associates, were selected by Shields Group to join their TV and Film Academy.

Leoni S successfully auditioned for the Associate Programme at Urdang Academy and the Josh Pilmore “More Training” Programme.

Millie E, Erin P & Rosie S were each placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools Summer Intensive 2022.

Millie, James, Milan, Rosie & Erin after auditioning amidst huge competition, each gained a place on the short waiting list for the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School. Should places become available they will attend from September 2022.

Rosie S after auditioning amidst huge competition, successfully gained a place for the semi-final auditions at White Lodge, The Royal Ballet School 2022.

AUTUMN 2020 TO SUMMER 2021

Molly M, after auditioning amidst huge competition, successfully gained a fulltime vocational place at White Lodge, The Royal Ballet School for year 8 entry, September 2021.

Delilah S after auditioning amidst huge competition, has been offered a place on the very short waiting list for a fulltime vocational place at White Lodge, The Royal Ballet School for year 7 entry, September 2021. Delilah was also selected for a place at the Spring Intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2021.

Skye K, Isla M & Maddie T-C were each successful, amidst huge competition, in gaining places on the highly sought after Senior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Molly M & Delilah S were each successful, amidst huge competition, in gaining places on the highly sought after, Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Ned P & Rosie S after auditioning amidst much competition have each successfully gained a highly, sought after place, on the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2021.

Jessica W successfully auditioned for a place at Central School of Ballet and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started the vocational course at Central in September 2021. Jessica was also offered a highly sought after, place on the Advanced Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Rosanna R successfully auditioned for a place at Laine Theatre Arts, where she was awarded a full Scholarship, Central School of Ballet, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, Urdang Academy, Wilkes Academy & Italia Conti. She started the vocational course at Laines in September 2021.

India T successfully auditioned for a place at Laine Theatre Arts, placed on the waiting list for Central School of Ballet, and gained further places at London Studio Centre, Classical & Contemporary courses, Urdang Academy, Bird College and Emil Dale. She started the vocational course at Laines in September 2021.

Georgia S successfully auditioned for places on both the Classical and Contemporary courses at London Studio Centre as well as a full-time place at Edinburgh Festival Ballet where she was awarded a scholarship.

James C after auditioning amidst huge competition, successfully gained a fulltime vocational place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, for September 2021 entry.

Ruby C, Florence D, Millie E, Olivia K, Erin P, Lucy S, Sadie S, Delilah S and James W each successfully auditioned, amidst much competition, for the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet. They will join several other GPSD students in September who are already studying on the programme at Central.

Ellicya W was placed on the waiting list for the associate program at the Central School of Ballet.

Florence D passed her assessment for the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School to attend in the academic year 2021-2022.

Molly M, Florence G, Skye K, Bella N, Leoni S, & Betsy S, each passed their assessments to continue their classes at the associate programme at Central School of Ballet. Amy B, India D, Holly H, Rosanna R, Georgia S, Maddie TC & India T will be moving on to pastures new.

Isla M & Maddie T-C were selected for direct entry, without having to apply, for the Spring Intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2021.

Molly M, Erin P, Delilah S & Maddie TC after auditioning amidst huge competition, each successfully gained a place for the final auditions at White Lodge, Royal Ballet School 2021.

Ruby C, Millie E, Olivia K, Erin P, & Emily TC after auditioning amidst huge competition, each gained a place on the short waiting list for the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School. Should places become available they will attend from September 2021.

Maisie C, Millie E, Skye K, Erin P, Maddie TC each successfully auditioned amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

India D was awarded the Dance Scholarship to Brighton College for September 2021.

Carolina R, after auditioning amidst much competition successfully gained a highly, sought after place, on the Junior Engagement Programme at the Royal Ballet School. She started in January 2021 after also being placed on the short waiting list for the Junior Associate Programme there.

AUTUMN 2019 TO SUMMER 2020

Florence C successfully auditioned for a place at Central School of Ballet, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started the vocational course at Central in September 2020.

Pippa Hi successfully auditioned for a place at Central School of Ballet, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and Northern Ballet School and started the vocational course at Central in September 2020.

Felicity S & Jennifer S each successfully auditioned for a place at Edinburgh Festival Ballet, started the vocational course at Central in September 2020.

Florence D after auditioning amidst huge competition successfully gained a place for the final auditions at White Lodge, Royal Ballet School 2020. Florence also gained a highly, sought after place, on the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2020.

Florence C after auditioning amidst much competition has successfully gained a highly, sought after place, on the Advanced Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2020.

Ruby C successfully gained a place on the Royal Ballet Schools Summer Intensive 2020.

Florence D, Isla M, Rosanna R, Delilah S & Jessica W each successfully gained a place on the Royal Ballet Schools Easter Intensive 2020.

Maddie T-C was given automatic entry for the Spring or Summer intensive at the Royal Ballet School 2021. Maddie was also selected by Central School of Ballet for their promotional photoshoot and was awarded a Scholarship to attend a one-day dance intensive at Central School of Ballet

Chloe C, Violeta H, Holly H, Erin P & Maddie T-C were each placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools Spring Intensive 2020.

Skye K was awarded a scholarship for the Four Day Spring Course at Central School of Ballet.

Amy B, Florence C, India D, India F, Lyla P, Georgia S, Delilah S, Maddie T-C, Rosie T, Alana W after gaining sought after places on the BBO Scholars program all attended a Scholars weekend at Elmhurst School for Dance and were taught by Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Brandon Lawrence

Rosie T & Jessica W after auditioning amidst much competition, each successfully gained a highly, sought after place, on the Senior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2019.

Chloe C & Ruby C, after auditioning amidst much competition have each successfully gained a highly, sought after place, on the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2019.

Florence C, India D, India F, Pippa H, Amelia J, Isabella N, Rosanna R, Jenny S, & Ella S, each successfully auditioned, amidst much competition, for the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet. Dylan D & Liberty F each successfully gained a full-time vocational place at Ballet West, Scotland.

Liberty F successfully gained a full-time vocational place on the Ballet course at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

Georgie G successfully auditioned for a sixth form place at Emil Dale Academy for September 2019.

Raphael C, Olivia K, Sadie S, Delilah S, after auditioning amidst much competition for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School have each been placed on the short waiting list and should any places become available will start their classes there in September 2019

Charlie L after auditioning amidst much competition for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School has received a letter of interest along with a request to return next year when he will be year 4.

India T after 3 rounds of auditions was offered a place with London Children’s Ballet and will perform with them at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in July 2019.

Florence C was awarded a scholarship for the One Day Ballet Intensive at Central School of Ballet.

Amy B, Florence C, Pippa H, Georgia S and India T were each placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools Easter Intensive 2019. Pippa was also placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School.

Royal Academy of Dance East of England Awards Autumn 2018

Pippa H. was awarded 1st place in the Advanced section, whilst Amy B was awarded Highly Commended also in the Advanced category. Delilah S was awarded Highly Commended in the Grade 4 category. Sophia D & Maddie T were each awarded Highly Commended in the Grade 6,7 & 8 category.

AUTUMN 2017 TO SUMMER TERM 2018

Isla M successfully gained a place at The Royal Ballet School, White Lodge, for September 2018. She is one of just 12 girls chosen worldwide to be offered a place. Isla also successfully gained a place on The Royal Ballet School’s Mid Associate Scheme, Covent Garden.

Ruby S-M after a very rigorous audition process, successfully gained full time vocational places for September 2018 at Central School of Ballet, Elmhurst Ballet School and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts amidst much competition in the preliminary stages.

Florence C & Pippa H both successfully auditioned for the Senior Associate course at the Royal Ballet School amidst much competition. They will start their classes at the Royal Ballet School, Covent Garden in September 2018. They both also gained places at the Royal Ballet Schools Easter Intensive. Pippa was also placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School. Both girls also gained a final audition at Elmhurst Ballet School for a full- time vocational place for year 10 entry.

Violetta H successfully auditioned for the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School for September 2018.  Violeta also gained a place on the Royal Ballet Schools Easter Intensive.

Amelia J, auditioned in early June, amidst much competition, for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School and started her classes there, on a Saturday, in September 2018.

Arya A-S, Harriet C, Dylan D, Liberty F, Violeta H, Maddie T, Rosie T, Jessica W & Alana W, each successfully auditioned, amidst much competition, for the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet. They joined several other GPSD students already studying on the programme at Central.

Phoebe B, Amy B, Florence C, India F, Pippa H, Georgia S, Felicity S, India T, each successfully passed their assessments to continue, on the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet for 2018 to 2019.

Amy B successfully gained a place on the Royal Ballet Schools Easter Intensive.  She was also awarded a scholarship for the summer school at Central School of Ballet as well as a scholarship for the One Day Ballet Intensive there too. After attending auditions for the Mid Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School Amy was placed on the short waiting list. Amy also successfully gained a place at the final audition at Elmhurst Ballet School for year 9 entry amidst much competition at the preliminary stages. Unfortunately, Amy could not attend the final due to injury.

Olivia K, & Delilah S, auditioned in early June, amidst much competition, for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School and have each been placed on the short waiting list.

Sophia D, Evie H, Isabella N, Delilah S, Georgia S, Jessica W, & Colette W each successfully auditioned amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Gabrielle T successfully gained a full-time vocational place at Ballet West, Scotland, for September 2018.

Rosie T, India T, Isla M, Violeta H & Amy B, each successfully gained a place on the Junior Summer School at Elmhurst Ballet School 2018.

Liberty F, Florence C & Pippa H, each successfully gained a place on the Senior Summer School at Elmhurst Ballet School 2018.

Georgie G, was scouted by London Studio Centre, for their Emerging Gifted & Talented Programme.

Arya A-S, Amy B, Ananya B, Phoebe B, Florence C, Harriet C, India D, Dylan D, Sophia D, Indiana E, Liberty F, India F, Lois F, Georgie G, Elizabeth G, Evie H, Pippa H, Violeta H, Olivia K, Isla M, Lily N, Isabella N, Lyla P, Gabriela P-T, Felicity S, Ella S, Delilah S, Ruby S-M, India T, Rosie T, Jessica W, Emily W, Edith W, Margot W, Alana Willis, & Chloe W each successfully auditioned for the Three Counties Youth Ballet in November 2017 and January 2018.  They performed with TCYB in August 2018 at the Hertford Theatre.

AUTUMN 2016 TO SUMMER 2017

Isla M auditioned in early June, amidst much competition, for the Junior Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School. She was offered a place on the scheme and started her classes there, on a Saturday, in September 2017.

Ruby S-M successfully auditioned in May, amidst much competition, for the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet after also successfully auditioning for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts in November and started her classes there in January 2017. She started her classes at Central in September 2017. Ruby was also selected to attend the Elmhurst School for Dance Senior International Summer School.

Florence C successfully auditioned in May, amidst much competition, for the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet and the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Lois F, Pippa H, Isabella C, & Felicity S, each successfully auditioned, amidst much competition, for the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet.

Amy B successfully auditioned in May, amidst much competition, for the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet. Amy also successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet’s production at Aylesbury and was cast in the role of Clara in their Nutcracker.

Violeta H successfully auditioned amidst much competition for a full-time place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and was also invited back for funding. She also successfully auditioned in May, amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and will started her classes there in September 2017. Violeta also successfully auditioned for a place on the Associate scheme at Young Dancers Academy, London, and was then also offered a scholarship for a full-time place.

India D & Hazel L S successfully auditioned amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started their classes there in September 2017.

Amelia J & Grace C both auditioned in early June, amidst much competition, for the Junior Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School and were each placed on the short waiting list.

Alana W, after attending the Easter Course at Young Dancers Academy was awarded a scholarship for their next intensive course.

William H successfully auditioned for the Kick Start for Boys Dance Programme at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Phoebe B, India F, Isabelle S & India T, all passed their assessments, to continue, on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet.

Mia S amidst much competition, was successful in gaining full time vocational places at Ballet West, Scotland, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, the School of Ballet Theatre UK and Northern School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.  Mia started at Ballet West in September 2018.

Felicity S, Florence C & Molly C each successfully auditioned for a place on the Tring Park Associate Programme at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Royal Academy of Dance East of England Awards 2017

India Francis, age 11 was awarded 2nd place in the Grade 6,7 & 8 category with Rosie Tustain, age 12, being Highly Commended in the same category. Isla Macleod age 10 was awarded Highly Commended in the Grade 5/Inter Foundation category and both Florence Cave, age 12 and Pippa Higham age 13, were both Highly Commended in The Intermediate Category.

AUTUMN 2015 TO SUMMER TERM 2016

Lauren Mitchell successfully made her way through preliminary rounds and finals at the top schools throughout the 2015-2016 academic year!  She was offered places at English National Ballet School, Central School of Ballet, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and Ballet West.

She took up the place at English National Ballet School and started there in September 2016. She was also placed on the selected waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School at Covent Garden 2016. Lauren attended the Summer Course at English National Ballet School.

Arya Ariasa-Surrey amidst much competition, was offered a Mid Associate place with the Royal Ballet School from September 2016.  Arya after making it to finals at both the Royal ballet School White Lodge and Elmhurst School for Dance was placed on the waiting list with Elmhurst for the full time vocational course.

Oscar Clarke amidst much competition, successfully auditioned for a Mid Associate place with the Royal Ballet School.  Oscar did not take up the place but attended Tring Park School for the Performing Arts full time from September 2016 after successfully auditioning for them ealier in 2016.

Amy Barker was successful in auditioning for a full time place on the classical ballet course for year 7 at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Amy also successfully auditioned amidst much competition for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Mia Saville passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet.  She also successfully auditioned for the CAT Scheme at The Place in London. She was also offered a place on the Senior Summer School at Elmhurst School for Dance.

Phoebe Bunce age 13, passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet and moved in to Prep 3 in September 2016.  Phoebe was also offered a place on the Summer Course at English National Ballet School and also placed on the selected waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School 2016 (White Lodge) Phoebe has been fortunate enough to attend the Royal summer school on two other occasions.

India Francis, India Gaston & Isabelle Steward all successfully auditioned for a place on the Associate scheme at Central School of Ballet.  Places for this programme are highly sought after.

India Townsend successfully auditioned for a place on the Associate scheme at Central School of Ballet.  Places for this programme are highly sought after. She was also placed on the selected waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School 2016 (White Lodge)

Harriet Crunden & Lois Fraser both successfully auditioned amidst much competition for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

Felicity Sharpner successfully auditioned for a place on the Tring Park Associate Programme at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

Ella Smith after auditioning for the Junior Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School was placed on the short waiting list.

Amelia Fleming was placed on the selected waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School 2016 (White Lodge).  Amelia also successfully auditioned in September 2015 for London Junior Ballet.

Royal Academy of Dance East of England Ballet Awards 

We were very proud of our students who attended the awards in April 2016 and were very pleased to have had the Advanced Section winner in Lauren Mitchell.

Lauren Mitchell successfully passed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced 1 and Advanced 2 examinations during the academic year 2015 to 2016, each time gaining a Distinction, an exceptional achievement.

Alfie Graham, Mia Saville & Carys Thomas each successfully passed their RAD Advanced 1 Examination, each gaining a High Merit all aged 14.

Laura Barraclough, Sarah Budd, Phoebe Bunce, Georgie Gaudencio, & Bella Hart each passed their RAD Intermediate exam. Georgie & Phoebe both aged 12 & Laura, aged 13, all gained a High Merit whilst Bella & Sarah, both aged 13, and Isobel aged 14 all gained a Merit.

Senior Graded Exams July 2016 After entering 7 senior candidates there were excellent results with the grade 7’s and 8’s all gaining Distinction.

Junior Exams July 2016 After entering 9 junior candidates, the grade 4’s and 5’s gained 4 Distinctions, 4 High Merits and 1 Merit.

AUTUMN 2014 TO SUMMER TERM 2015

Claire Wood successfully auditioned for the full time vocational classical ballet courses at Central School of Ballet, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, where she was awarded a DADA, Ballet West Scotland and Northern Ballet School. Claire started on the fulltime degree course at Central in September 2015. Claire was also placed on the waiting list for a full time place at Elmhurst School for Dance.  She was also offered a place on the English National Ballet Schools Summer School.  Claire was successful in gaining a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School & attended during August 2015.

Harry Galloway has accepted his much sought after offer of a place on the full time vocational course at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and will started his training there in September 2015.

Oliver Addison-Kemp was offered a second year of study on the Junior Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School for the academic year 2015-2016.

Phoebe Bunce was offered a place at the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School for 2015 amidst much national and international competition. Phoebe also auditioned for a full time year 8 place, amidst much competition, at Elmhurst School for Dance. She was invited with a handful of children of her age to finals. Phoebe successfully passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet and moved into Prep 2, for the academic year September 2015-July 2016. Phoebe was also offered a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School, August 2015.

India Francis & Rosie Tustain both successfully auditioned for a place, amidst much competition, for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Mia Saville successfully passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet for the academic year September 2015-July 2016 in Prep 3. After a rigorous audition process, Mia performed with London Children’s Ballet in April 2015, after successfully auditioning with them at the end of 2014. Mia was also placed on the selected short waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School for 2015 amidst much national and international competition. Mia was also offered a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School and attended during August 2015.

Isabelle Steward was successful in gaining a place at the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School, White Lodge and attended in July of 2015. An excellent achievement amidst much national and international competition. Isabelle also successfully auditioned amidst much competition for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and commenced classes with them in January 2015. She was also placed on the short waiting list, for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Laura Barraclough & Gabrielle Thomson were each offered a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School and attended in August 2015.

Arya Ariasa-Surrey, Laura Barraclough, Sarah Budd, Phoebe Bunce, Daisy Button, Emilie Cartwright, Chloe Cheng, India Francis, Lois Fraser, Georgie Gaudencio, Elizabeth Green, Mia Saville, Felicity Sharpner, Gabrielle Thomson, Carys Thomas, India Townsend & Rosie Tustain all successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet in June 2015 and some of the students performed with them in Stevenage at the Gordon Craig Theatre in October 2015.

Lois Fraser was awarded the half scholarship during her junior audition with English Youth Ballet when she attended in June.

India Townsend successfully auditioned amidst much competition for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and commenced classes with them in January 2015.  She was also placed on the short waiting list, for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

Bella Hart successfully passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet for the academic year September 2015-July 2016 and attended in Prep 2. She was also offered a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School and attended in August 2015.

Emma Wiggetts successfully passed her assessment to continue on the Associate Programme at Central School of Ballet for the academic year September 2015-July 2016. She was also offered a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School and attended in August 2015.

Daisy Button after a rigorous audition process was selected to perform with London Children’s ballet touring company and performed with them in February 2015

Maddie Baron & Claire Wood both successfully passed their RAD Advanced 2 examination, Claire with High Merit.

Claire Wood & Lucy Boakes successfully passed their RAD Advanced 1 examination in December 2014 with Claire gaining a Distinction and Lucy a High merit.

Chloe Cheng, Gabrielle Thomson & Izzy Dann, all passed their RAD Intermediate exam. Chloe & Gabrielle, each aged 13, both gained a High merit and Izzy, aged 14 gained a Merit.

Junior Exams July 2015 – After entering 9 junior candidates, there were excellent results with the grade 4’s and 5’s achieving 5 Distinctions and 4 High Merits.

Senior Graded Exams July 2015 – After entering 7 senior candidates there were excellent results with the grade 7’s and 8’s all achieving high Distinctions.

Junior Exams December 2014 – After entering 20 junior candidates, we had excellent results with the grade 2’s and 3’s gaining 4 Distinctions, 12 High Merits and 4 Merits.

Senior Graded Exams December 2014 – After entering 17 senior candidates we had excellent results with the grade 6’s and 7’s gaining 15 Distinctions, 1 High Merit and 1 Merit.

AUTUMN 2013- SUMMER 2014

Brittanie Dillon reached the final 30 at the Royal Ballet School Upper School auditions in 2014, and after a rigorous audition process and much competition to attend full time vocational training in classical ballet accepted a place at Central School of Ballet in London and started her training there in September 2014.

Verity Game was successfully selected, after a rigorous audition process and much competition to attend full time vocational training in classical ballet at Elmhurst School for Dance and started there in September 2014. Verity was also offered a place on the Royal Ballet Schools International Summer School for 2014 but was not able to take up the opportunity as she was chosen to perform with the Maryinsky Ballet over the same period at the Royal Opera House. Verity was also placed on the short waiting list for the Mid Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School after being a JA with them for the past 2 years. She also successfully auditioned for a place on the full time Classical Ballet course at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Saskia Twiss was successfully selected, after a rigorous audition process and much competition to attend full time vocational training in classical ballet at Central School of Ballet in London and started her training there in September 2014.

Oliver Addison-Kemp was offered a place on the Junior Associate Scheme at the Royal Ballet School and started his classes with them in September 2014.

Claire Wood was successful in gaining a place on the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School 2014. She also successfully passed her assessment to continue as an associate at Central School of Ballet for 2014-2015. Claire also successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet’s performances at Woking 2014 and was awarded the full Scholarship.

Chloe Cheng and Tallulah Isted both successfully passed their assessments to continue on the Associate Scheme at Central School of Ballet for 2014-2015.

Isabelle Steward was placed on the short waiting list, for the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.

AUTUMN 2012 – SUMMER 2013

Pippa Hussain successfully auditioned for a place in year 9 at the Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge.  She took up the place and started full time at the school in September 2013.  In March of 2013 Pippa gained Distinction for her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Foundation Examination.

Anton Clarke successfully auditioned for a place in year 7 at the Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge.  He took up the place to start full time and started at the school in September 2013.  Anton also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started classes with them in January 2013, finishing on the programme in July of 2013 to take up his place at White Lodge.

Theo Canning successfully auditioned for a place in year 7 at the Royal Ballet Lower School, White Lodge.  He took up the place to start full time and started at the school in September 2013.

Oscar Clarke after attending the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate auditions in May 2013, has been successful in gaining a place and will started his classes with them on a Saturday in September. In December 2012, Oscar successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started classes with them in January 2013. In May 2013, he passed his assessment to continue on the programme. Oscar attended the Boys Day of Dance at Tring Park School for the performing Arts and was awarded the “Paul Watson Bursary”.

Phoebe Bunce was successfully awarded a place on the Royal Ballet School International Summer School 2013 (White Lodge) amongst much National and International competition.  Phoebe after attending the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate auditions in May of 2013 amongst much competition was placed on the selected short waiting list.  Phoebe also passed her assessment in May 2013 to continue with Tring Park at their Classical Ballet Academy.

Morella Clarke after attending the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate auditions in May of 2013, amongst much competition was placed on the selected short waiting list.  In December 2012, Morella successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started classes with them in January 2013. In May 2013 she passed her assessment to continue on the programme.

Bella Hart was successfully awarded a place on the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School 2013 (White Lodge) amongst much National and International competition.  Bella also successfully auditioned in May 2013 for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started her classes with them in September 2013.

Verity Game who is currently a Junior Associate with the Royal Ballet School was successfully awarded a place on the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School 2013 (White Lodge) amongst much National and International competition. Verity also passed her assessment to continue on the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School.  She also passed her assessment to continue with Tring Park at their Classical Ballet Academy.

Saskia Twiss successfully auditioned for a place on the Associate scheme at Central School of Ballet. She took up the place in the Pre-Senior class in September 2013

Claire Wood successfully auditioned in ay 2013 for Central School of Ballet’s Associate scheme and started her classes with them in September. Claire also passed her assessment to continue at Tring Parks Classical Ballet Academy.  She also successfully auditioned for the full time vocational classical ballet course at Tring Park school for the Performing Arts but did not take up the place offered at that time. Claire was also selected from a large number of applicants to attend the Elmhurst School for Dance Summer School in July 2013 and was also placed on the priority selected waiting list for the Royal Ballet Schools Summer School at White Lodge. Claire also successfully auditioned in May of 2013 for English Youth Ballets Oxford Performances and was awarded a half scholarship for that particular season of EYB. In March of 2013 Claire passed her Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Foundation Examination with High Merit.

Chloe Cheng successfully auditioned for Central School of Ballet’s Associate scheme and started her classes with them in September 2013. Chloe also passed her assessment in May 2013 to continue at Tring Parks Classical Ballet Academy.

Tallulah Isted successfully auditioned for Central School of Ballet’s Associate scheme and started her classes with them in September 2013.  Tallulah also successfully auditioned for the associate programme at Young Dancers Academy in London.

Georgie Gaudencio attended the Harpenden Summer School 2012 where she was awarded the Intermediate Ballet Prize for progress and commitment.

Isabelle Steward & Olive Addison-Kemp, after attending the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate auditions in May of this year received a letter specifically asking that they return next year after a year of further training.

Megan Pay successfully re-auditioned for Central School of Ballet in December 2012 and started with them in January 2013 on their full-time degree course in Classical Ballet.  Megan had previously been offered a place at Central in March of 2012.

AUTUMN 2011 – SUMMER 2012

Megan Pay who has been a Senior Associate at the Royal Ballet School during 2011-2012, reached the final 30 at the Royal Ballet School Upper School auditions in 2012. Megan was successful in gaining places on the full time vocational classical Ballet courses at Central School of Ballet and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Megan was also offered a place at the Royal Ballet School’s International Summer School 2012 and attended the course in Covent Garden in July & August 2012. Megan was lucky enough to be taught by Darcey Bussell whilst on the Royal Ballet School Summer School.

Kai Tomioka successfully auditioned for a place at Central School of Ballet and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started the vocational course at Central in September 2012. Kai also gained his RAD Advanced 1 ballet with a Merit in the Summer Term 2012.

Louis Gaudencio, successfully auditioned for Musical Theatre vocational training at Laine Theatre Arts and started his foundation year with them in September 2012. Louis also gained his RAD Advanced 1 ballet with a Merit in the Summer Term 2012.

Bethany Huckle successfully auditioned for the Musical Theatre courses at the following schools, Bird College, Laine Theatre Arts, Italia Conti, Performers and Urdang. She took up the offer of a place at Urdang and started with them in September 2012. Beth also gained her RAD Intermediate ballet with a Merit in the Summer Term 2012.

Pippa Hussain, who has been an associate at the Royal Ballet School for the last 3 years has recently passed her assessment to continue as an MA at the Royal Ballet School for another year, 2012-2013. She was also selected to attend the Royal Ballet School International Summer School at White Lodge in July of 2012 after also attending the same summer school in 2011. Pippa also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Tallulah Isted who has been a Junior Associate at the Royal Ballet School in 2011-2012 will be continuing on the Associate Programme for 2012-2013.

Joseph Milbourn after auditioning alongside hundreds of other young hopefuls for a place on the Junior Associate Programme at the Royal Ballet School in London has been given a place on the short waiting list.

Izzy Dann, who has been a Junior Associate at the Royal Ballet School from 2010-2012 has auditioned along with hundreds of other young hopefuls for the Mid Associate Programme there. She was placed on the short waiting list for a place for September 2012. Izzy also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and started her classes with them in September 2012.

Lucy Boakes at the age of 12, gained her RAD Intermediate with a Distinction in March of 2012. Lucy is an Associate at Central School of ballet and was also successful in gaining a place at the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Lucy was also placed on the waiting list for the Royal Ballet School Summer School 2012.

Alfie Graham, who has been a Junior Associate at the Royal Ballet School from 2010-2012 has auditioned along with hundreds of other young hopefuls for the Mid Associate Programme there. He was placed on the short waiting list for a place for September 2012. Alfie also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Megan Pay after auditioning alongside hundreds of other students was offered a place on the Senior Associate Course at The Royal Ballet School and commenced her training at the Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden on a Saturday in September 2011.  Megan also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

Pippa Hussain, Lucy Boakes and Alfie Graham, were each selected by the Royal Ballet School to Dance with the Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.  Lucy danced in Cinderella November/December 2010 and April of 2011.  Pippa danced in Beatrix Potter over the Christmas and New Year period.  Alfie danced in Swan Lake in January/ February and April of 2011.

Tallulah Isted, after auditioning along with hundreds of other young hopefuls, was offered one of the few places available on the Junior Associate Programme at The Royal Ballet School.

Pippa Hussain after auditioning alongside hundreds of other children, was offered a place on the Mid Associate Course at The Royal Ballet School.  Pippa was previously a Royal Junior Associate and continued her classes on a Saturday as an MA. Pippa also passed her RAD Intermediate in the summer of 2011 with Distinction at the age of 11.

Izzy Dann and Alfie Graham, after completing their first year as Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, continue for a second year with the Royal Ballet School in their classes with them on a Saturday.

Lucy Boakes, who was also a Royal JA, has recently successfully auditioned for Central School of Ballet’s Associate Programme.  After being with the Royal Ballet School in 2010-2011 she was also placed on the Royal Ballet schools short waiting list for the Mid Associate Course.  Lucy also successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Louis Gaudeuo successfully auditioned for a place on the Pre-Senior Associate course at Central School of ballet.

Loredana Gibilaro successfully auditioned for the Classical Ballet Academy at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

Pippa Hussain, Megan Pay,  and Francesca Willis, after auditioning alongside over 600 other children,  were all  successful in gaining a place with the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain for the 2011 season.

Maddie Baron successfully passed her RAD Advanced 1 in the summer of 2011 with a Merit at the age of 13.

Oliver Freeston began his training at the age of 14 at GPSD, having never taken a ballet class before.  Within two years of training he had passed his RAD Intermediate and Advanced 1 examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance, both with High Merits.  After only one year of training he took a lead role with National Youth Ballet and represented the Royal Academy at the Gala performance of Billy Elliot.  In his second year of training he auditioned for vocational ballet schools to be able to continue his training full time.  He was successful with Tring Park School for the Performing Arts – where he was awarded a scholarship, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and Central School of Ballet, amongst much competition. Oliver took up the place at Central School of Ballet and completed his three years of training, graduating in July of 2009 with a BA (HONS) Degree.

AUTUMN 2009 – SUMMER 2010

Lucy Boakes, Izzy Dann and Alfie Graham all successfully auditioned during the summer term of 2010 for the Royal Ballet Schools Junior Associate programme.  The places are highly sought after with hundreds of children auditioning for a few places.

Pippa Hussain successfully auditioned last year for the same programme at the Royal Ballet School and has passed her assessment to continue with them in September.

Megan Pay successfully auditioned for the associate programme at Central School of Ballet last year and passed her assessment to continue on the programme. Megan also passed her RAD Advanced 1 with a High Merit in March of 2010 at the age of 14.

Katherine Baker, Maddie Baron, Lucy Boakes, Lauren Carter, Emily Frost-Smith, Loredana Gibilaro,  Maddy Hallwood, Tian Howell, Pippa Hussain,  Lucy Jenkins, Freya Lawson,  Annie Leighton, Megan Pay,  Elena Portas and Francesca Willis all successfully auditioned for the Three Counties Youth Ballet Company in June of 2010

SPRING 2009 – SUMMER 2009

Pippa Hussain successfully auditioned for the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate Programme and commenced on the course in September 2009

Joshua Earl successfully auditioned for the full time Professional dancers’ course at Central School of Ballet and commenced on the course in September 2009

Lucy Boakes was placed on the short waiting list for the Royal Ballet School’s Junior Associate Programme.

Megan Pay successfully auditioned for Central School of Ballet’s Associate Programme and commenced on the course in September 2009. Megan also passed her RAD Intermediate in March of 2009 with Distinction at the age of 13. Megan also successfully auditioned for a place on the full time Classical Ballet course and was invited back for scholarship at the Arts Educational School, Tring.

Fiona Nicholson successfully auditioned for a place on the full time Classical Ballet course at the Arts Educational School, Tring.

Keenia Silkman successfully auditioned for a place on the full time Musical Theatre course at the Arts Educational School, Tring.

Francesca Andersen Wood, Maddie Baron, Shauna Byrne, Orla Corbisiero, Holly Crawford, Louis Gaudencio, Lucy Jenkins, Emillia Kerr, Fiona Nicholson, Megan Pay and Elena Portas all successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet and performed in the ballet “Giselle” at the Gordon Craig Theatre in March 2008.

Emma Albery, Maddie Baron, Lucy Boakes, Emily Childs, Orla Corbisiero, Josh Earl, Pippa Hussain, Lucy Jenkins, Megan Pay, Elena Portas, and Hannah Williams all successfully auditioned for the English Youth Ballet’s Dunstable performance of ‘Coppelia’ which took place in August 2009

Roxanne Knight successfully auditioned for the Royal Academy of Dance teacher training degree course.
